HireSetu is built on the idea that a job platform only works if both sides — Job Seekers and Employers — can trust what they see on it. Here's how we work to earn that trust.

Employer Verification

Every Employer account goes through a verification step before any job listing becomes visible to Job Seekers:

Employers submit company details (size, HQ location, contact phone) and a registration/identity document — typically a GST certificate or incorporation certificate; smaller businesses without one may submit an equivalent proof, such as a rent agreement in the company's name.
Our admin team reviews these documents before approving the account.
Job listings from unverified Employers do not appear in search or on the homepage.
If we reject or revoke an Employer's verification, we tell them why, so they can correct and resubmit if appropriate.

Job Seeker Verification

Job Seekers can optionally verify their profile. Verification does not gate access — Job Seekers can browse and apply to jobs freely — but a verified badge signals a more complete, reviewed profile to Employers.

Content Moderation

Our admin team can review, close, or remove any job listing or profile that violates our Terms & Conditions or looks fraudulent (see our Fraud Alert page for common patterns).
Job listings automatically expire 30 days after posting (or 30 days after the last received application) and are hidden from active search, though seekers may still view them for reference.
Applications an Employer has not acted on within 15 days are automatically marked rejected, so seekers aren't left waiting indefinitely.

Reporting a Problem

If you come across a job listing, company profile, or message that looks fraudulent, discriminatory, or otherwise against our policies, email support@hiresetu.online with a link to the listing/profile and a short description. We review every report.

Account Security

We support two-factor authentication for your account — we recommend enabling it from your account settings.
Never share your HireSetu password with anyone, including someone claiming to be from HireSetu support.
We will never ask for your password over email, phone, or WhatsApp.

Equal Opportunity

We expect Employers using HireSetu to comply with applicable Indian labour and anti-discrimination laws in their hiring practices. Job listings that discriminate unlawfully on the basis of protected characteristics may be removed.

Escalation

If you're not satisfied with how a report was handled, you can escalate to our Grievance Officer:

We acknowledge grievances within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days.
